March 23, 2006 06:21 - Toy Recalls for Late February 2006 thru March 2006
During the month of February and March 2006, there has been several toy recalls as follows:
As you may recall, on January, I've posted the first warning on a popular children toy, Magnetix, because a 2 year old boy from Washington State had died from swallowing the magnetics pieces. Since then, there has been two more accident involving Magnetic Toys. First, a week ago there was a 5 year old boy who swallowed the magnetic pieces of this toy. This boy ended up in hospital and was in critical condition. Now I'd like to report that just a few hours ago, there has been another accident involving Magnetix toys. The victim is a 4 year old boy who may have mistakenly thought the attractive magnetic pieces as candy.
Therefore, please beware, parents. Magnetix Toy contains small magnetic pieces and this toy is intended for older children . If you have older children who own these toys and there are also small children in your household at the same time, please be very careful to keep these toys out of reach of the small children.
