Where Can I Store the Ducky ? - Tips for Bath Toy Storage -
Wonder how you are going to store those duckies ? Wonder no more. You will find tips for bath toy storage in this page.
There are basically two ways to store the tub toys: - Using a mesh bath toy bag.
- Using a bath toy bin.
Mesh bath toy bags are basically bags made from nylon mesh with zip, and can be hung on the bathroom wall using suction cups. The non-frill version of these bath toy bags are cheap. You can get one for 5 dollars or less. The advantage of using a mesh bath toy bag over a bath toy bin for organizing the tub toys is that it doesn't require a lot of space. In addition it's not rigid compared to a bath toy bin. When you have only a few toys, then the whole thing will only occupy a little bit of space. In contrast, when using a bath toy bin, no matter how many toys you have, this bath toy storage system will occupy the same amount of space. However, some people find it annoying to have to zip and unzip the bag during the storing process.
Nowadays, there are some 'cute' bath toy storage bags available, ranging from mesh bath toy bags with nice designs and shapes (such as fish), to a totally innovative design of this bath toy storage system. Take Peli's Play Pouch. It is a mesh bath toy bag with a plastic pelican head on it. The whole thing can be shunted on the side of a bath tub. When in use, the pelican head should face the bath tub, so your child can open up the bag by lifting the plastic pelican head and reach for the toys underneath it. When an adult is taking a shower, the pelican head can be placed so that the pelican head and the toy bag underneath it is facing out of the bath tub. This bath toy organizing system is great if you have plenty of bath toys.
Bath toy bin is another bath toy storage system that you can use. Although it takes more space and rigid (you can have only have that much toys inside it), bath toy bins are definitely sturdier than a mesh toy bag. Bath Time Trap Door Toy Bin has been around for quite some time and has been a favourite for some families. This tub toy bin can be placed at the bath tub wall. And a child can take the toys out by opening the trap door at the bottom of the bath toy bin. Another 'cuter' design of a bath toy storage unit is called Boon Frog Pod Toy Storage, which is a toy, drain, and storage unit designed to simplify cleanup during bath time. The whole unit can be attached to any shower or bath tub wall. The frog base is actually a removable scoop which can detach from the whole unit. You can put and rinse off bath toys in frog base, and then put scoop with the toys in it back to the unit and leave them to hang. The fingers and toes are can be used to hang accessories and the non-detachable hidden shelf provides a convenient space for shampoo and other bath products. Unfortunately, there are not many toys you can squeeze inside the froggie.
Therefore, one important tip for choosing a bath toy storage system is to see how many bath toys your child has and find a system which can contain all the bath toys. Happy shopping !
